One of my favorite movies is It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. I can’t remember the first time watching it, but when I was younger we’d sometimes watch it on New Year’s Eve night while putting a big puzzle together and waiting for the clock to turn midnight. Years later, I watched it again out of the blue and laughed a lot more than normal. From then on, I was hooked, and can watch this movie over and over and not tire of it! For those of you who have never watched the movie, it is about some people who witness a car crash. They talk to the driver right before he dies, and he tells them of a large fortune buried under a big W. The rest of the movie follows those people and others as they all compete and race to find this fortune. It’s very funny with a lot of slapstick comedy. Highly recommended!

I’ve had various ideas of poster designs using this movie, and finally got around to making this one the other day. It made it in similar vein to a Saul Bass poster for the movie using Illustrator. I used a minimal style after seeing the minimal movie poster site. I think it turned out pretty good.
