Cash Register Concerto
This summer, the 3rd Walt Disney Classics Collection’s Classic Comic Series sculpture, Cash Register Concerto with Uncle Scrooge, comes out. It’s based on the cover of the Uncle Scrooge #5 comic from 1954.
I picked up the previous two Classic Comic Series sculptures (Pirate Gold with Donald Duck and Sheriff of Bullet Valley with Donald and his nephews) and am looking forward to getting this one too.
The sculptor, Bruce Lau, does an excellent job in recreating the comic book cover characters into sculpture form.
There are many more Walt Disney Classics Collection sculptures coming out in the future. You can check out a detailed list of all the releases at Duckman’s WDCC Inside Report site. I’d probably purchase more of these, but they’re all very costly…

last year i played around with some new design ideas, but never got around to finishing any of the designs to actually make into a website design. well, i decided to take advantage of the last 2 and a half week vacation in between semesters, and make a new design for my website. i’m happy with how it’s turned out. although i started it during vacation, i ended up spending half of the time working on a web project for someone at my church, so i had to postpone finishing up until now. there are still a few details i want to fix, as well as add in my portfolio, and make it look and feel more professional. and also update the site more frequently!
let me know what you think of the new design. good, bad, ideas, etc.

i just picked up this new Nintendo DS game called Brain Age. it supposedly can figure out your “brain age” by completing many different puzzle thinking games. i haven’t tried it out yet (just got it while out at lunch), but it seems pretty cool. i love thinking puzzle games. it also comes with Sudoku which has become pretty popular. i’ll try it tonight
