I have US xbox 360 and i burnt the power supply by plgging it in UK, and obviously by reading all the posts above clearly i shouldnt have done it. However reading your posts further it suggests i can use a UK power supply to run my xbox? Although the output from my US power supply is different i.e. it has 2 seperated circles which goes into the xbox unlike the UK xbox power supply which dosent have tht...so i am confused will the UK one actually fit into my xobx??

Hey man, thank you. I think you saved my Xbox. Do you have any idea where I can try to purchase it? I live in Gangnam near the Coex mall. I went there and nobody seemed to have any idea where I could even buy a Korean power brick. Where can I try?

Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the place I got the power supply from. I do remember it was in a very large mall-like building with floors and floors of electronics. On one of the upper floors, there were many booths dedicated to selling video games. I just randomly walked around looking for any sort of Xbox 360 stuff, until one guy stopped me, and, in English, asked if i needed any help. I told him I wanted a power supply for my Xbox 360, and he just pulled out the power supply that was connected to the display Xbox 360 and sold it to me for 70 or 80 thousand won. This was two years ago though, so I forgot where it was at... And the prices may have changed.

Not sure, but this might help with the searching; the Korean word for the power supply is: xbox 360 전원 공급

Did you find where to buy a power supply for your xbox 360 here in Seoul? I just moved here less than a month ago and I really want to use my 360. If you found one how much was it?

i can't guarantee anything... but only from my own experience here in South Korea, i've been using a US Xbox 360 with a Korean power brick. the power brick uses 220v and plugs directly into the outlet--no voltage converter or plug adapter needed.

although recently, my xbox 360 died and has the red-ring of death problem... i don't think this is because i'm using a different power brick, but i'm not 100% positive either. i had been using the US xbox 360 with a Koeran power brick for about 1.5 years without any problems.

if you feel unsure about using the 220v power brick with your xbox, then i'd suggest getting a voltage converter and a new US power brick. good luck!
